How to write an event listing
Use a copy-ready event listing template with the details attendees need to make a decision.

Make the first sentence do the work
Say who is performing or hosting, what will happen and what the ticket includes. “Three local selectors play soul and disco in a seated listening room” gives a reader something to decide. Put the address, local date, doors, showtime and last entry in their own lines where people can find them.
Copy this listing structure
[Event name]
[One sentence describing the experience.]
[Day and local date] · Doors [time] · Starts [time]
[Venue and full address]
Tickets [price and what’s included] · [Official booking link]
Entry and accessibility [confirmed details and contact]
Do the checkout check
Open the published listing and booking page on a phone. Confirm the date, price and address match. Use a photo you have permission to publish and explain details that could change someone’s plans, such as seating, the admission cutoff or an item minimum.
