Ticket transfer vs. resale
Understand the difference between sending a ticket and selling it, and what to confirm before using either.

Choose by what you need to do
Use an official transfer if you already have a ticket and want a friend to use it. Resale is a purchase from another holder. Some resale platforms deliver the purchase through a later transfer, so you may see both steps in one order. The event’s ticket provider determines whether either feature is available.
When you receive a transfer
- Check the sender, event, venue, date and number of tickets.
- Open the official provider’s app or website and accept with the email the sender used.
- Verify the ticket appears under your orders. Ask the provider what to do if the transfer remains pending.
When you buy resale
Check the total price, delivery deadline and what the marketplace covers if a ticket is invalid. Check VIP inclusions separately. A screenshot can leave you without a usable ticket when the provider requires mobile entry. Keep the order and transfer confirmation until the event is over.
