Compare the written inclusions

General admission
Entry to the advertised area. Seating or standing may be unassigned. A seat is only assured if the offer says so.
VIP
A package that may add a viewing area, early entry, merchandise or a separate line. Check the exact list for your date and tier.

Put a price on the thing you want

Imagine a standard ticket costs $45 and VIP costs $85, including fees. If your main concern is getting a seat, the extra $40 is useful only if the package actually includes one or provides a seating area you can use. A separate bar or souvenir has little bearing on that decision. Compare access and price per guest if you want the group to stay together.

Before paying

Check the viewing map, any early check-in deadline and whether the perks transfer if someone else uses the ticket. Ask the venue directly about step-free access or accessible viewing. Package names vary by organizer.
