Start with a private budget check
Ask people to message their maximum total privately. Include admission, transport and any venue minimum. Choose a shared plan within the lowest comfortable budget. If friends want extras, make those optional and keep the main activity the same.
Compare two complete nights
- Plan A
- Free entry plus $18 round-trip transport and a $12 venue minimum totals $30 per person.
- Plan B
- A $16 ticket plus $4 in fees and $6 transport totals $26 per person if there is no minimum.

Make the commitment clear
Send one message with the total, booking deadline and cancellation terms. If tickets are scarce, set a time for everyone to buy. If one person books for the group, agree on payment before they take on the cost.
